Salvation Is by Grace—But Sin Can Still Cost You the Kingdom of God

When we say that salvation is by grace, we mean that no one can earn righteousness or acceptance before God through their own works. Salvation is based entirely on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
However, the fact that salvation is by grace does not give us permission to live in sin. The grace of God teaches us to turn away from ungodliness and to live holy and godly lives.
Those who deliberately choose to continue living in sin without repentance place themselves in danger of being excluded from the inheritance of the Kingdom of God.
Salvation is by grace alone, but the grace that saves also transforms. It leads believers into holiness, obedience, and conformity to the image of Christ.
📖 “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.” (Titus 2:11–12)
